Late fees waived off for non-filers of GSTR-1
CBIC has waived off late fees for non-filers of GSTR-1 for a period of July 17 to November 2019. According to the said notification, late fees will be waived off only if GSTR-1 for this quarter has been filed between the period from 19th December 2019 to 10th December 2020. However, these non-filers will have to file their returns for the respective period latest by March 31, 2019, CBIC said.
