Facility to Composition Taxpayer to Pay Tax Quarterly and File Return Annually
Composition Taxable Persons are now required to file GSTR-4 on Annual Basis till 30th April every year. First GSTR-4 will be filed on 30.04.2020 for F.Y. 2019-20. Composition Taxable Persons are required to pay tax quarterly till 18th of month succeeding the quarter by filing FORM GST CMP-08. First GST CMP-08 will be filed on 18.07.2019 for Q1of F.Y. 2019-20. Note- Above amendment also applies to such Service Providers who opts to pay tax under Composition Scheme (Turnover upto INR 50 lakhs, Rate – 6%, No Inter-State supplies).
