You are allowed to update the EWB Transporter details for a particular EWB if the transporter gets changed for further movement of goods.<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Login into E-way bill system using link – https:\/\/ewaybillgst.gov.in\/login.aspx.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Click \u2018Update EWB Transporter\u2019<\/strong> under \u2018e-Waybill\u2019<\/strong> option. \u201cUpdate Transporter details of E-Way Bill\u201d form is displayed as shown below in figure.<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> You have to enter the EWB number<\/strong> and click \u2018Go\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The above form will get expanded requiring more details.<\/p>\n

You can now update the transporter details by filling all the details. If you are facing trouble filling these details click here<\/a> and goto transporter part to know how to fill them.<\/p>\n

How to update transporters in bulk<\/p>\n

You can update Transporter ID in bulk for multiple e-way bills at a time to save your time and efforts. For updating transporter details in bulk, you should have the EWB bulk converter tool or the excel file.<\/p>\n

In order to get this tool, you had to go to EWB portal (Link: https:\/\/ewaybill.nic.in\/ ) then goto Help<\/strong> section -> click Tools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Click on Bulk Generation Tools<\/strong>, a page \u201cBulk Generation Attributes & Tools\u201d is displayed.<\/p>\n

Goto \u201cJSON preparation tools\u201d<\/strong> -> click on \u201cVehicle No. Updation JSON Preparation\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This will be opened as an excel file\/spreadsheet.<\/p>\n

Fill the required details in the excel sheet and validate the details for correctness by clicking the red colored validate button displayed on the top of excel sheet. Once the details are validated, you can click the \u2018Prepare JSON\u2019 button to generate the JSON file.<\/p>\n

After generating this JSON file, to update Part- B transporter details for Bulk, follow the below steps –<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Login into E-way bill system using link – https:\/\/ewaybillgst.gov.in\/login.aspx.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Click \u2018Update EWB Trans.-Bulk\u2019<\/strong> under E-Way Bill option. The \u2018Bulk Transporter Upload\u2019<\/strong> page is displayed as shown below –<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Then you have to choose the JSON file containing Transporter ID details.<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> After successfully uploading the JSON file, click on the \u2018Update\u2019<\/strong> button. Transporter Id\u2019s will get updated in multiple e-way bills as per the data entered in your JSON file.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
