A taxpayer has to first generate the authentication token that is valid for 360 minutes and then needs to authenticate the credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Generate IRN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Generate IRN API helps in generating the Invoice Reference Number (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gstrobo.com\/blog\/everything-you-ought-to-know-about-irn-in-e-invoice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.gstrobo.com\/blog\/everything-you-ought-to-know-about-irn-in-e-invoice\/\">IRN<\/a>) for an e-invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cancel IRN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cancel IRN API helps the taxpayer to cancel the generated IRN within the stipulated time that is within 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Get E-Invoice Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using Get E-Invoice Details API, a taxpayer can easily generate details for an IRN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Generate E-Way Bill Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Generate E-Way Bill Details <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gstrobo.com\/products\/gst-eway-bill-api\/\" title=\"APIs\">API<\/a> helps a taxpayer to generate an e-waybill using IRN. However, it shall be noted that for a canceled IRN you cannot generate an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gstrobo.com\/blog\/generation-of-e-way-bills-by-transporters-for-e-invoices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.gstrobo.com\/blog\/generation-of-e-way-bills-by-transporters-for-e-invoices\/\">e-way bill<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Get GSTIN Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using Get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gstrobo.com\/blog\/fake-gst-invoice-here-are-5-ways-to-spot-fake-gst-invoices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.gstrobo.com\/blog\/fake-gst-invoice-here-are-5-ways-to-spot-fake-gst-invoices\/\">GSTIN<\/a> Details API, a taxpayer can easily obtain the details for a given GSTIN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cancel EWB&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cancel EWB API helps the taxpayer to cancel the generated e-way bill within the stipulated time that is within 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Get IRN Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using Get IRN Details API, a taxpayer can easily generate and authenticate the IRN generated by the IRP.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preconditions to Use E-Invoicing APIs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Following are the preconditions to use e-invoicing APIs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Automation of invoice generation process.<\/li><li>Any taxpayer\u2019s system using <a href=\"https:\/\/einvoice1.gst.gov.in\/\" title=\"Invoice Registration Portal\">Invoice Registration Portal (IRP)<\/a> to generate e-invoice must be free from viruses, malware, etc. NIC may suspend the service if they find any malicious traffic.<\/li><li>A taxpayer needs to follow all standard operating protocols prescribed by the Government of India.<\/li><li>A taxpayer needs to meet all the security requirements for application and infrastructure.<\/li><li>GSPs\/taxpayers must comply with the IT Act 2000 and all the amendments thereunder.<\/li><li>A taxpayer needs to mention at least 4 Indian Static IP addresses to use the sandbox testing environment of the e-invoicing portal. Sandbox testing of any API is necessary to know the usability of different types of services or activities.\u00a0<\/li><li>Using the pre-production system, the taxpayer needs to test their modified systems with all types of activities\/services.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits of using E-Invoicing APIs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gstrobo.com\/products\/e-invoicing-software\/\" title=\"Using E-invoicing\">Using e-invoicing<\/a> APIs you can integrate ERP with IRP flawlessly.<\/li><li>A taxpayer can avoid duplicity of data as e-invoices can be directly generated using ERP.<\/li><li>A taxpayer can eliminate data entry errors in the e-invoices.<\/li><li>The taxpayer can easily file GST returns and e-way bills using e-invoicing APIs.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we already know that the e-invoicing API helps in interacting ERP with Invoice Registration Portal (IRP).
